- Jesus walked in the region of death. Wherever Jesus was , no one died in His presence. Jesus says “I am the resurrection and life.” He came in the midst of our curse, depression, necessity and fall.
- The biggest challenges in earthly life are provision and health. The answers are communion and tithe
- Elisha Purifies the Pot of Stew -1 Kings 4:38-41. It is a typology of COMMUNION
38 And Elisha returned to Gilgal, and there was a famine in the land. Now the sons of the prophets were sitting before him; and he said to his servant, “Put on the large pot, and boil stew for the sons of the prophets.” 39 So one went out into the field to gather herbs, and found a wild vine, and gathered from it a lapful of wild gourds, and came and sliced them into the pot of stew, though they did not know what they were. 40 Then they served it to the men to eat. Now it happened, as they were eating the stew, that they cried out and said, “Man of God, there is death in the pot!” And they could not eat it. 41 So he said, “Then bring some flour.” And he put it into the pot, and said, “Serve it to the people, that they may eat.” And there was nothing harmful in the pot. - Gilgal is the first stop after crossing Jordan, where they circumcised kids of Israelites, the place of blessings where the reproach and shame has been rolled away. The world is always in famine since the fall of Eden
- Pot : place of life, suistanance, nourishment. Pot is typology of pulpit ministry. Elisha is type of salvation
- The way of man is to remove, the way of God is to add something greater
- Food : a bit polluted or poisoned, the all is polluted. Uncleaness is contagious in the world.
- Power and virtue comes from Jesus and clean them all. Jesus is the fine flour
- Levi 2:1 And when any will offer a meat offering unto the Lord, his offering shall be of fine flour; and he shall pour oil upon it, and put frankincense thereon:
- Fine flour. Nothing uneven. When he is firm, he does not hurt. Something princeliness in His character. Truthful but kind. His earthly life was anointed by Holy Spirit.
- Make sure you have Jesus in your sermon. Ignorant, human opinion, tradition. It will purify the uncleaness. Jesus is the only One greater than uncleaness.

Shall I set this before one hundred men?” He said again, “Give it to the people, that they may eat; for thus says the Lord: ‘They shall eat and have some left over.’ ” 44 So he set it before them; and they ate and had some left over, according to the word of the Lord. - His provision is always greater than your need. In my Father’s house is always bread to spare.
