- As long as there are still areas of fear, anxiety, and worry in your life, words have not dropped into your life to that extent.
- Bible knowledge is not to boast, and studying the Bible is not to fatten our intellect. Knowledge puffs up, but love builds up (1 Cor 8:1)
- John 8:31: “If you abide in my word, you are truly my disciples, and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” Pray that God continues to unveil the truth that I need to set me free. We can be freer than we are now.
- You can go to bible school, but still, you don’t know the Lord in the way you should.
- The Word of God is to humble us,
- The Cross can be taught in a theoretical way without melting hearts.
- If you hear the preaching of the Word but are not kinder and more patient with others, I question whether it is an accumulation of knowledge.
- Jesus does not answer questions to answer objectively, but He reaches the heart and the conscience. Example: are there few to be saved? Jesus’ answer: focus on the narrow gate
- It’s possible to have bible knowledge and use it against God; it doesn’t edify you and does not give you personal revelation about God. It melts your heart if you know God personally. The end goal of Bible study is to know the Lord by revelation.
- Ephesus is the most spiritual church, and Paul prays for spiritual revelation. If you see, you can not unsee.
- Whatever blessings in my life come from God by grace
- We all have different levels of pride, such as Love of preeminent self-importance. Pride turns the angel into the devil.
- Prayer is dependent on God, and it is the expression that I don’t trust myself. Unless You impart or give, I can possess nothing.
- You can copy words in the Bible for prayer, but you do not have the spirit and emotions they express. Words of Abraham or David are good for them but do not guarantee they suit you.
- Only you can pray the prayer God put in you, direct with God, pray with simple words.
- If you realize the futility of human effort, you will pray all the times
- Do you feel there is no favor from God in a specific area, or does nothing happen? He may be bringing you to a higher level and more favor than you realize. A closed door is a blessing from God. If you face walls, ask God what is going on. God will deal with you with frustration and disappointment because He loves you.
- James 5:11 The end result intended by God, that you may see that the Lord is very compassionate and merciful
- A morally upright person can have hidden pride. Job can not be blessed beyond the level of pride.
- Job 42:5 My ears had heard of you, but now my eyes have seen you
- Pray that what you learn and hear becomes part of your being.
- Broken in your will, God beautifies you. Whom He loves, He corrects. Obey with a good attitude. God wants you to a higher place, whom He loves, He chastens. Chastening = paidia – child training. Don’t make light when God chastens you.
- David was ordained in front of his brothers, but he went to the wilderness after that. Where is God’s favor? God is preparing you for great things.
- God prepares you before the money and the promotion so you have the character to carry the position.
- Heb 12:9, the result of chastening is that you live (Zao). Man does not live (zao) by bread alone.
- Zao: maintenance of physical life, the enjoyment of physical life, and the recovery of physical life from the power of disease and death
- God’s highest way is through the Word. And also, God deals with you through circumstances. When God disciplines you, it is for your profit that you become a partaker in His holiness.
- A wrong career creates constant frustration; ask God probably wants you to be in another place.
- You don’t need to enforce your discipline to someone else. Let God deal with them and leave them to Father in Heaven.
- God does not always correct with negative circumstances; maybe you refuse to listen to Him persistently. God uses good things to teach us.
- Rephaim = giant or healings
- Like David inquired of God, so we do. We can go through less testing if we humble ourselves.
- If you are afraid of your weakness, remember that His strength made perfect in your weakness.
- God’s grace can not flow in your strength.
- God conquerors us with His Love, and we conquer God with our weakness because when we are weak, God can’t leave us alone. He is attracted to our weakness. God captures human weakness.
- Don’t be afraid to tell the Lord your anxiety; he will transform you in the area you are talking about to
- In the Kingdom of God, when you are honest, God loves it.
- Isaiah 40: those who wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength. Exchange human strength with divine strength.
- 1 Cor 3:8, All you have is God’s; each will receive a reward according to his labor.
- Wisdom comes through prayer and asking with faith. Wisdom from above is pure, peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and hypocrisy. God’s wisdom will humble you and won’t make you proud.
- Wisdom will bring you to the place of knowing what you need to do for the next part of your life, whatever you face right now.
- God’s words will not return to you empty and void.
- The Words you hear transfer from head to heart to the nucleus of our being, where everything is recited. The Word is to transform us and not just inform.
- Pray that God grant me the spirit of wisdom and revelation about my testing and nature, so I don’t see it with spite or take it lightly, but I learn from You what You want me to know. Also, about the wall, whether it is about perseverance or the work of the devil/attack of the enemy. I am asking God to give me wisdom to know the difference. Pray that leads us not into testing.
- We humble ourselves, and God will exalt you. Humble is looking away from self to Christ, and He will exalt you in time.
