- There are four types of heart : wayside, stony ground, thorny ground and good soil
- If anyone has ears to hear, let him hear – talks about what you allow yourself to hear and to feed
- Mark 5:24 Then He said to them, “Take heed WHAT you hear. With the same measure you use, it will be measured to you; and to you who hear, more will be given. 25 For whoever has, to him more will be given; but whoever does not have, even what he has will be taken away from him.”
- Luke 8:18 Therefore take heed HOW you hear. For whoever has, to him more will be given; and whoever does not have, even what he [a]seems to have will be taken from him.”
- WHAT you hear talks about subject. Psychology, expert’s opinion will not do as the word of God. The word of God regenerates us, raise Jesus, it is incorruptible seed while man’s word is corruptible
- HOW you hear refers to hearing attitude / hearing heart.
- The same measure that you give to hear WHAT and HOW, the same measure will be used to you. If you have this, more will be given to you. Who does not , it will be taken away.
- What kind of measure you give when you hear the words? 60 fold attention?30 fold?100% attention? The same measure of fruitfulness applies to you.
- Amos 8:11 talks about famine of hearing the words of the Lord
- Psalm 1:3 is a picture of those who meditates the promise of the words of God
