Live Led by the Spirit

  1. John 16:14. The primary role of the HS is to glorify Jesus and to convict you of righteousness, not sin
  2. The upper room is for the Church. It is the church’s truth that is applicable today. Another sermon of the mount
  3. There is only one commandment under new covenant which is to love. To love is your nature. It is easy commandment, like commanding someone who is hungry to eat
  4. HS is another helper : another of the same kind. Jesus unlimited, no time and space. When Jesus was on earth, He was limited geographically and by time.
  5. Another Helper : When you are restless, I give your rest. When you are discouraged , I lift you up. When you are sad, I give you joy. When you are sick, I provide you health.
  6. Jesus says I am your good friend, I am your shepherd
  7. Helper : parachlete which means friend, helper, comforter
  8. The truth about rapture purifies believers.
  9. Jesus goes to prepare a place for you. Jesus went bodily and He will come again bodily
  10. Asking in Jesus name means in the person and representation of Jesus. As Jesus under God’s favor, so you are.
  11. The HS loves you and He never leaves you nor forsake you. That’s why He can be grieved. Griefs means He loves you.
  12. You are created to more beautiful destiny that sinning
  13. The book of Romans, in the first 4 chapters do not talk about the HS. In the chapter 5, it is the first time the love of the Spirit mentioned. He is with us and He loves us
  14. Dont confound : the work of Christ for you and the work of the HS in you. e.g : you look inside, am I saved?you should look outward to the work of Christ. The work of Christ is done outward and you have no part in it. God wants your eyes to be delivered from self.
  15. Unless you are established in the work of Christ for you, then you are ready for the work of Spirit in you.
  16. Did Jesus die on the Cross? YES, so is your sicknesses
  17. “When I see the blood, I will pass over you” I – God and it is not about you. If you understand this, it cause you faith in the blood of Jesus
  18. Holy Spirit 2 witnessess : HS bearing witness with us and HS bearing witness to us – Heb 10
  19. A witness can not say “I think I feel”, it is “yes or no you see it”. HS witness in the court of heaven
    wherether you are good or bad, spiritually or carnal Christians, it will not change HS witness
  20. HS witness that Jesus took all your sins and put on Jesus body on the Cross
  21. Christ was punished in your place, became curse so the blessings of Abraham be on us. Your sins God remember no more
  22. The work of Christ is outside me, therefore it can be undone by me. If Christ did the atoning , you don’t have any part in it. all of your part is to believe and to receive
  23. Put the death the deeds of the body, the way God helps is by the Spirit
  24. HS has flowing and spontaneous nature.
  25. You can do good things, but it is not the Spirit thing. e.g. when your wife is upset, you give her flowers, then she will become angrier. The Spirit thing is to talk with her and spend more time with her. e.g : diet – numerous advices, eat according to blood type. work for a while
  26. Laws causes self righteous/special compare to others. Laws does not always mosaic laws
  27. Break the will without breaking his spirit. The Spirit knows when and how
  28. The Spirit more leads us with red lights than green lights. HS teaches you with the wavelength of peace.
  29. Peace is natural habitat/default mode/natural state. Peace that rest securely more than emotions but on the unshakable foundation, does not depend on your feeling. I may tremble when I stand on the rock, but the rock never trembles.
  30. You are about to embark or to do something, and you find restlessness, stop. It is the HS stop you. HS does not possess, He wants you to flow with you.
  31. Every word, deeds is like frankincense , sweet fragrance to God. We are unto God, sweet aroma to Him. God smell the fragrance of Christ, and give you the blessings
  32. HS never drive, force, take over your personality but leads you. God never bypasses the personalities
  33. When you have your heart heavy, take a walk with Jesus.
  34. If faith becomes laws, you wont see result.
  35. You may need hearing ears–not advice. prayer: pour out your hearts and nobody dies in Jesus presence. you talk to ressurection and life, you will receive strength and grace and you will feel the comfort of the HS
  36. Toxic emotions – need to get out, otherwise it becomes toxic to your body
  37. Generally: ladies are more anxious, excited, expressive, man are more calm. Man dies younger, although calm in more sense because woman talk to cast their cares. If you want the news to spread, tell a woman, not telegram, telegraph, telephone
  38. talking is casting. cast your cares. the more frank you are, the more you sense His presence
  39. With God, God wants you to be a child
  40. OT:fearing God with sense of distance, NT:fearing God with sense of respect
  41. You can have the right phrase of theology but dont have the Spirit of it. You can quote the Scripture and you can have bible knowledge, but still anti Christ.
  42. It is not the matter of knowing Bible, but know Him, the one who wrote the Bible. if you are led by the Spirit, you are mature sons of God
  43. The HS bears witness that we are child of God — this is the most important area in life, how much more He will bear witness in other areas of life affairs (parenting, career, eating etc).
  44. God cares about small things and details. Birds are cheap, but God feeds them. Your hair is numbered. Nothing too small for God, you complement Him
  45. Green light is your natural habitat. if you make wrong move, sign/say something, if you feel the red light, dont do it. Even in good things, dont do it because it is good thing but because it is Spirit thing
  46. Your part of assignment, HS will lead you to your Great Commission to your assigned portion in the Lord’s vineyard
  47. God does not guide a parked car. HS bearing witness, as you move. Rest is not inactivity but Spirit directed activities.
  48. Dont depend on outside signs, because you have HS inside you. Learn to follow the Spirit inside
  49. God leads us with red lights. 2 Tim 1:6-7, stir up the gift…..fan into flame
  50. Doria = repent and be baptized
  51. If you are faithful in the gift of tongues, it will light up other gifts. Fear bring all kings troubles, diseases. When you pray intongues you release the rivers of power, love and sound mind
  52. Sounds mind = to save your mind – saving your mind and heart.
  53. the adrenal glens = released the hormon for strength. e.g a mom lift up a car to save car
  54. Isaiah 30:15 quietness and confident
  55. Come to Me and I give you rest. God moves in the rhythm of grace, the key to accomplish more
  56. God wants you to be in the place of quietness and confidence. You can not will power yourself to the place of relaxation.
  57. God has supernatural gift that does not depend on your certain position and environment, deep breathing – praying in spirit — rest and refreshing.
  58. God design us to live life like camel and turquoise, not lion and tiger. Animals are for us to learn.
  59. Lion, tiger live short. God design us to be camel speed and to live long life
  60. Remember : The race is not to the swift or the battle to the strong, nor does food come to the wise or wealth to the brilliant or favor to the learned; but time and chance happen to them all.
  61. Time and chance belongs to God
  62. Pray in tongues especially in your stressful of life
